In-Line Weights
Solution Graphics

Floats
from West Coast Floats

Question: Is there any real advantage to in-line weights? They seem to be getting very popular. Also, what is the difference between using in-line weights versus a piece of hollow lead on the mainline with a bead between the knot & the lead?
Answer:
In-line weights allow you to cast farther & more accurately, while getting your jig to drop more quickly. One of the advantages of using in-line weights to hollow core lead is that you have no friction, abrasion, or nicks on your line from weights sliding up & down, nor do you get the split shot pinching your line. These in-line weights are poured by me, & I inspect each one closely to make sure the swivels are securely in place. All of our in-line weights are made with high quality Rosco swivels.
